Antisonic - antivibrating flanged joints UNOFLEX
Applications
The joints UNOFLEX are used to :
● reduce the transmission of vibrations and noise along pressurized pipeline.
● attenuate mechanical vibrations between sources (pumps, compressors, conditioners, boilers, etc. ..) and pipes;
● offset expansion of pipelines (use in pair), for Δ thermal fluid.
● to reduce the impact.
● bear the suspended loads (pumps, circulators, etc. ..).
The pressure to internal circuit do not stiffnes the elastic body "mouthpiece" of the joint UNOFLEX, unlike traditional joints "to omega" that are remote or reinforcement grid inside the elastomer, which greatly reduce the flexibility with the pressure increasment in the circuit.
The joint UNOFLEX maintains unchanged its flexibility regardless of the static pressure in the circuit, allowing a high and constant isolation from sources of noise.

Features
The joint UNOFLEX is formed by:
● the mouthpiece in elastic material with good permeability and good resistance to permanent deformation
● flange aluminum alloy
● ring to protect the "mouthpiece" alloy aluminum
● connector "divergent" alloy aluminum with internal rectifiers anti-turbulence
● seal on the opposite side the mouthpiece.
For the characteristics resulting from the Venturi the joints UNOFLEX have reached the required direction of flow, from an arrow printed on the connector "divergent". Flow rectifiers inside the connector helps to normalize the turbulent flow.
UNOFLEX joints are available with flanges for connection different diameters and avoiding the construction of trunk taper.
On request:
is possible to make the elastic body "mouthpiece" in blends suitable for the type of application.
Installation examples
The diagram illustrates an example of installation: three pumps to isolate on the ground with monospring mounts and to piping network with UNOFLEX joints. The manifold is suspended from the ceiling with a spring suspensions.

- Compensation of thermal expansion
The diagram illustrates the installation of a couple of joints UNOFLEX series, to absorb the expansion of the piping resulting in a Δ heat. The presence of the two elastic joints allow for sufficient freedom to slide in axial direction of the logs heat.
